Maelstrom requires that you have a monitor set to 256 colors; please set the monitor back to 256 colors.

Maelstrom ran into a problem loading in the sounds file.  The sounds are either not in the proper format or there wasn't enough memory to load them in.

Sorry, someone has tampered with Maelstrom's shareware message; I'll go no further!  Sheesh, what a shameless thing to do...

Sorry, Maelstrom needs System 6.07 or later in order to run.  Such is life...

Maelstrom couldn't open a needed file.  The files 'Maelstrom Sounds', 'Maelstrom Sprites', and 'Maelstrom Titles' must be in the same folder as Maelstrom.
